Featuring a staff of board-certified professionals, the doctors at Retina Associates stay up to date with best medical practices through membership in organizations such as the American Medical Association.

In mid-August, the American Medical Association (AMA) rolled out new guidance to medical providers across all disciplines aimed at helping them navigate extensive changes to the Medicare system made by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA), including the new Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Dubbed the MIPS Action Plan, the guidance is aimed at helping doctors craft a custom plan for their respective practices to best adapt to the new payment systems and ensure that they remain in compliance with all applicable Medicare laws.
